IGP Methanol and NW Innovation Lead Global Capacity Additions

Global methanol capacity is expected to experience considerable growth over the next eight years from around 130 mtpa in 2017 to more than 240 mtpa by 2026. More than 70 planned and announced methanol plants are expected to come online, primarily in the Middle East and Asia over the next eight years.

IGP Methanol LLC, NW Innovation Works Inc. and China Petrochemical Corp are the top three companies in terms of planned and announced capacity additions globally over the outlook period.
